Young inner-city filmmakers dig deep into their city's musical heritage by interviewing surviving members of the mid-20th century [pre-casino] Atlantic City era. With this select group of musicians, public figures and those who lived through the era, we hope to discover new insights into the musical and cultural history of their city. This short film will explore the music and cultural history of Atlantic City from mid 20th century up to the casino era. It will begin with an overview of city history and then a musical timeline. From there we will cut into locations both existing and gone and bring them to life through interviews of musicians, people who lived through the era and others who can tell us about how culture and music came together in these locations
